I so enjoyed reading Vida Zuljevic's paper on puppetry. I can see so many ways I can integrate her ideas in my Title I Reading classes. For several years we have been performing plays for small audiences, but it always a challenge to make sure they all have appropriate costumes, props, large enough space to perform, etc. Performing on a much smaller scale gives way to all kinds of possibilities! I congratulate Vida on her energy and excitement for bringing reading alive to so many people.
