The RWCT Consortium project Education against Corruption aims to develop educational programs for preventing corruption and raising public awareness for teachers and local communities in project partners countries. Seven in-country teams from RWCT International Consortium members will be trained to develop programs for formal and non-formal education. Developed materials will be published in Russian and English and later will be available for all RWCT Consortium members in 23 countries. Training will be based on Lithuania s experience and will include classroom observations, meetings with teachers, students, NGOs, officers from the Ministry of Education and Science, municipalities, and other state institution representatives. Local consultants and experts will provide a two-day seminar on anticorruption program development. The development of the general program framework and guidelines will enable further work on local programs according to in-country needs and possibilities. National programs will be developed in local and English/Russian languages. Each participating country will build a team from school and local communities representatives, who will be further responsible for program development and implementation in the countries. Experts and consultants will guide the work in the countries during the whole project period in order to ensure effectiveness and usefulness of the current project.
The two-year project will end with a final conference and results presentation.
