Brief description of results of activity for the past year:
The RWCT International Consortium was represented in the OSI network education program coordinators' meeting, "Networking for Impact on Policy and Practice," June 3-5, Antalya, Turkey. The executive director of the RWCT Consortium made a panel presentation, "Various Approaches to Networking Existing Resources." The Consortium also was introduced to the EU NGO DEPART, TRIALOG, and CONCORD networks during summer school in Ostende, Belgium (July, 2004), and to the Association of Teacher Educators in Europe (ATEE) during the annual conference in Sicily (October, 2004). The Centre for Teacher Training in Bialystok (Poland) started concrete cooperation through the RWCT training, with the introductory seminar in Bialystok in October. Information about the Consortium and RWCT program was published in a teachers' newspaper, and competition for potential courses' participants was announced. RWCT IC runs two projects, supported by the OSI-Budapest REFINE program: "Education Against Corruption" and "Facilitating Curricular Reform Through Strengthening Curriculum Development and Writing Skills of Teachers."
