Dear Thinking Classroom/Peremena Subscriber:

As a reader of Thinking Classroom/Peremena (TC/P), you have enjoyed, we hope, the international perspective on progressive educational practices the journal offers. Although subscriptions will no longer be available through IRA membership, our new publisher, the Reading and Writing for Critical Thinking International Consortium, fully expects to maintain the goals, values, and editorial voice you have enjoyed to date. This letter is to thank you for your past support and encourage you to continue or renew your subscription to Thinking Classroom/Peremena today. Options for paper copies and our new on-line subscription service are available at http://www.rwct.net.

We are excited about the journal’s future. Its content focus on critical thinking and active learning will be maintained, and articles will continue to provide tangible help to practicing educators working with students of all ages and in all content areas. TC/P plans to develop an even wider reach, sharing methods and strategies that have worked in classrooms across the globe. Theory that supports and elucidates such practices will also be presented.

We live in a world where distrust flourishes and stereotypes abound. Please do your part in helping to break down the barriers that keep those of us who care about children from talking directly to one another. Send in articles that describe your practices, your ideas, and your questions. Volunteer to be a peer reviewer of articles. And please remember to stop by at our secure website (www.rwct.net) to re-subscribe to Thinking Classroom/Peremena. And if you are able, please ask your library and friends to join us in this venture.
